Using Poorly Trained Workers Is More Than Cheating; It's Dangerous
Some contractors are cutting costs by hiring construction workers that don't have the training or the experience for the job. Besides producing poor quality work, these workers are hazardous to themselves, other workers and the public. Construction work is inherently dangerous. That's why trade unions provide extensive safety education, in addition to skills training. Let's make sure unscrupulous contractors don't make job sites hazardous for workers and the public.
